Contract (48 months) - Temp to Hire ?What You'll Do Key Responsibilities:
Conduct complex technical studies and operational analyses to recommend improvements in manufacturing processes, equipment, and production methods. Author detailed work and rework instructions (including MBOMs in SAP/Solumina/Corridor andDRDI/DMT
guidelines) to enhance efficiency and ensure product quality during assembly or installation. Lead or coordinate implementation of process improvement projects across multiple functions, applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Perform productibility studies and statistical analyses to identify opportunities for process optimization, supporting design for manufacturing initiatives and equipment/facility justification. Support make-or-buy decisions, evaluate and liaise with vendors, and help resolve vendor-related or manufacturing issues as they arise. ?What You Bring Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 18 months of experience in manufacturing engineering, planning, or related technical discipline. Proven knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles, with hands-on application in manufacturing settings. Proficiency with production systems and software (e.g., SAP, Solumina, Corridor, CADAM, CATIA) and ability to interpret engineering blueprints and technical documentation.
