Job Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on experience leading the startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operation of automated coating lines and associated process systems. The Manufacturing Engineer will have responsibility for leading the manufacturing development of assemblies, products, etc. The Manufacturing Engineer supports and/or leads Project Teams in the development of new processes and equipment. The Manufacturing Engineer is also responsible for effective and efficient project planning. Manufacturing Support & Process Development Processes that are typical to our manufacturing, process include welding, brazing, machining, fabrication, forming, and assembly. Develop and install coating linefor high volume operations. Develop new processes to both improve current products as well as allow for the launch of new products. Review internal and external designs for manufacturability. Take these process development ideas through the launch phase. Capital & Tooling Procurement Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods. Develop manufacturing work cells and procure the necessary capital and tooling to successfully build end-use products. Manage all portions of the capital acquisition process including CER development through the final implementation and sign-off of the equipment. Continuous Improvement Ability to work on teams with a creative mind for continually improving processes/systems using Lean methodologies and concepts. Identify and work to implement continuous improvement concepts and ideas. Project Planning Ability to plan projects from start to finish using project management tools. Demonstrate ability to identify project requirements, divide projects into manageable tasks and deliverables while mitigating risks and obstacles to ensure the plan is completed on time. Advanced Product Quality Compliance (APQP) Fulfill all ME portions of overall APQP for large projects and, at times lead overall APQP documentation for responsible projects. Coordinate with necessary internal resources to complete tasks and ensure proper documentation. Additional Responsibilities Uphold and comply with all safety, environmental, and quality protocols. Be an active participant in the Senior's safety process. Participate in SOS initiatives Safety & Quality over Delivery MindsetQualifications
