This role will work closely with production teams to develop efficient, reliable, and high-performance equipment. The ideal candidate will be a technically skilled and creative problem-solver with strong experience in machinery design and development. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software.
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and equipment performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select and integrate mechanical components.
- Specify motor horsepower, gearbox torque, bearings, shafts, and other components for various applications.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure machinery designs meet efficiency, reliability, and manufacturing requirements.
- Support the development and improvement of machinery and mechanical systems. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in machinery design and development.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 2D.
- Strong understanding of materials science, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with welding methods and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop creative and practical engineering solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively with production teams, vendors, and suppliers.
