Position Summary:
The Product Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting and enhancing manufacturing operations through engineering expertise, project leadership, and customer collaboration. This position is responsible for optimizing production processes, evaluating product designs for manufacturability, and driving cost-effective solutions. The role also serves as a technical liaison between the plant, customers, and industry partners.
Essential Job Duties:
Provide engineering support to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing of new and existing products. Analyze product designs to improve manufacturability, ce costs, and increase production capacity. Lead and support projects involving process development, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including routings, bills of materials, and work instructions within SAP. Apply engineering principles to design and validate new product applications and modifications. Conduct and document engineering analyses and testing to ensure product performance andpliance. Ensure adnce to engineering standards, quality systems, and safety protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and meet customer requirements. Represent Diamond Drives LLC in customer meetings, providing technical presentations and product expertise. Travel to customer sites as needed to support product applications and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). Strong project management andanizational skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effectivemunication skills—verbal, written, and presentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
2 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with solid modeling and CAD software. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. The yearlypensation for this role is $65,960 to $91,455, ismensurate on experience andcation, and could pay more or less than the posted range. This full-time position is eligible to participate in thepany's short-term incentive program, paid time off plan, 401k, andprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
