Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Lead manufacturing and capital improvement projects from initial concept through implementation and project closure. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments to support successful execution. Manage equipment installations, production line expansions, facility upgrades, and process improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency during project implementation. Create, maintain, and update engineering documentation, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction. Partner with Quality and Operations teams to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements. Coordinate activities with vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers to meet project milestones and performance expectations. Monitor project performance and provide regular updates on progress, risks, budgets, and outcomes to stakeholders. Support automation, manufacturing technology, and process optimization initiatives to improve plant performance. Participate in root cause investigations and develop sustainable corrective actions for manufacturing challenges. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven experience leading engineering, process improvement, or capital equipment projects. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and tooling systems. Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
