About Our Client Our client is a leading, long-established manufacturer within the steel and heavy industrial space, supporting key industries including automotive, construction, and packaging. They are currently investing heavily in one of their largest facilities, expanding operations and building out new production capabilities while continuing to grow their quality and engineering teams Job Description Support quality assurance efforts within a large-scale manufacturing environment by ensuring products meet customer specifications and internal standards Partner closely with operations to provide metallurgical and technical support across production Analyze process and product data to identify opportunities for quality improvement Lead and support root cause investigations, rejection analysis, and corrective actions Perform internal audits and maintain compliance with quality systems and procedure Develop and present quality reports and participate in quality-related meetings Conduct daily floor audits to ensure operations are running within defined parameters Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and product quality MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) Experience within steel or heavy industrial manufacturing environments Strong understanding of quality systems, with exposure to ISO 9001 and/or
IATF 16949
preferred Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive process improvements Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with operations and engineering teams Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in a plant environment Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven setting What's on Offer Salary typically between $70K-$100K depending on experience Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401k with ~6% company match PTO - 3 weeks
