full-time Company Description GML Industries manufactures precision wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical solutions for OEMs across a wide range of industries. Team members collaborate closely with customers to meet demanding specifications and performance requirements. This environment offers manufacturing professionals opportunities to work with specialized processes, advanced equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Do Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives utilizing DFT (Demand Flow Technology) and TPS (Toyota Production Systems) methodologies. Design and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling and fixtures Drive Kaizen events, 5S, TPS, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, and waste elimination Develop labor standards, manufacturing routings, and production documentation Improve productivity, quality, safety, and manufacturing throughput Support new product introductions from prototype through production Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales Develop manufacturing cost estimates and support customer quotations using Cableteque software Support wire harness design activities using Zuken E3 CAD software Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor coaching teams and implementing improvements What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related field 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience Experience in wire harness, cable assembly, control panels, electromechanical assembly or similar manufacturing Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience Experience leading Kaizen projects and process improvement initiatives Excellent analytical, communication and project management skills Preferred Experience with: Wire harness manufacturing
