Job Description
At GPS we provide Gas Turbine Power Plant Auxiliary equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement in a short cycle, highly competitive, market. Our engineered solutions are developed to address gas path related equipment issues experienced by our customers and execute the repairs at their facility. GPS is a young company that is experiencing significant growth. In general, repair projects take place during periods when the plant is in a scheduled maintenance, or emergency outage, and typically are completed in 3-10 days working 24/7. Our customers include General Electric, Florida Power and Light, Southern Company, Entergy, Invenergy and many others. In addition to conducting repairs, GPS also provides full replacement of Inlet and exhaust duct systems including diffuser, silencers, plenums, expansion joints and related components based on original equipment specifications and drawings. GasPath Solutions is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Design Engineer. The Design Engineer is responsible for executing engineering documentation from the Sales quotation phase through site completion and customer acceptance of a project. GasPath Solution projects encompass the installation, repair, or replacement upgrade of Gas Turbine Auxiliary Equipment at the customers job site. In addition, to supporting the development of the Quality Management System. The Design Engineer will lead or provide project support with the creation and maintenance of engineering drawings and other documents required to complete the project.
