Controls Engineer - Siemens Automation Want to work somewhere you can actually engineer and program automation from scratch rather than spend your time maintaining someone else's code? I'm working with an established automation business that designs and builds highly automated manufacturing equipment. They're looking for a Controls Engineer with strong Siemens experience who can take ownership of the controls side of a machine from initial design and programming through commissioning and startup. What you'll do Develop Siemens PLC programs from scratch using TIA Portal Design and develop HMI applications Specify controls hardware and support electrical design, schematics and panel layouts Integrate robotics, drives, safety systems and other automation equipment Debug and commission machinery on the shop floor Support installation and startup at customer sites What you'll need Strong Siemens PLC programming experience, ideally TIA Portal Experience programming PLCs from scratch rather than solely troubleshooting Controls experience within automation, machine building or manufacturing equipment Understanding of electrical controls hardware and machine safety Experience with HMI development and industrial networks Comfortable commissioning equipment and supporting customer-site startup

Pay:

$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
