Job Description:
Lead engineering initiatives focused on yield improvement, variation reduction, scrap reduction, and cost optimization Oversee new product introduction (NPI) programs, ensuring execution to project timelines, budgets, and customer requirements Direct tooling, part design, and manufacturing standards to support operational excellence Drive continuous improvement through structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and waste elimination initiatives Partner cross-functionally with operations, manufacturing, and engineering teams across multiple sites to resolve technical challenges Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers to ensure alignment on product specifications and manufacturability Collaborate with customer engineering teams to optimize product design and production capability Build, mentor, and develop engineering talent while fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability Lead engineering training and capability development initiatives Ideal Candidate Profile Strong technical leadership with a proven ability to solve complex manufacturing challenges Customer-focused communicator capable of translating technical requirements into actionable solutions Collaborative leader who drives cross-functional alignment and eliminates operational silos Business-minded with a focus on measurable operational and financial results Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and skilled at leading teams through change Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering 5+ years of manufacturing experience 1+ years of leadership experience U.S. work authorization (visa sponsorship not available) Preferred Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement / Kaizen experience Expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies (5 Why, A3, root cause analysis) CAD and blueprint reading experience Time study and labor standards analysis Investment casting or advanced manufacturing experience Strong financial and operational acumen
