Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer Crookston, MN Full-Time Build the Future of Advanced Manufacturing We are partnering with a leading global manufacturer in the transportation and mobility industry to find a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Crookston, MN. What You'll Do Provide manufacturing engineering support within assigned production cells Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality goals Lead and support lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, value stream mapping, setup reduction) Implement Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and initiate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) Design or specify tooling, equipment, and racking solutions Create and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and train team members Maintain and update plant layouts, inventory maps, and safety plans Support capital equipment upgrades and facility improvements Participate in daily production meetings and plant performance reviews Conduct process observations to validate time standards and improve efficiency Assist with audits, non-conforming material reviews, and supplier approvals Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related experience in manufacturing Lean certification or equivalent hands-on experience Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software (e.g., UniGraphics) Solid Microsoft Office skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and on a team Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed Why You'll Love This Role Comprehensive benefits package (eligible from day one) Paid holidays and vacation Ongoing training and professional development Clear opportunities for career advancement Engaging, team-oriented culture with employee events throughout the year Opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing performance and innovation About the Opportunity This position is with a well-established, industry-leading manufacturer known for innovation, sustainability, and a strong commitment to employee development.
