Key responsibilities & Requirements Own and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reliability, and product quality Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across production operations Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, eliminate waste, and improve process capability Use structured problem-solving methods to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures Improve manufacturing layouts, workflow, ergonomics, and material flow Lead and support Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and monitor key manufacturing metrics Evaluate tooling, equipment, and automation opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs Develop business cases and ROI analyses for capital improvement projects Support equipment installations, validation, and process optimization Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver production goals Support new product introductions and manufacturing process launches Train production teams on new processes and continuous improvement initiatives Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience) 3-5 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies Experience applying structured problem-solving tools such as DMAIC, PDCA, A3, or similar Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data-driven process improvement Experience supporting automation, equipment improvements, or capital projects Ability to analyze manufacturing data and translate findings into practical improvements Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to solving manufacturing challenges Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing certifications (preferred) Experience with process optimization, production line balancing, or value stream improvement (preferred) Exposure to automated manufacturing systems and industrial controls (preferred) Experience leading Kaizen events or plant-wide improvement initiatives (preferred) Benefits Comprehensive benefits package High-visibility role with ownership of key improvement initiatives Collaborative leadership team that supports innovation and continuous improvement Stable organization with long-term career development opportunities Modern manufacturing environment focused on operational excellence and employee development
