Sheet Metal Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Sheet Metal Manufacturing Engineer to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will manage projects & customers that require sheet metal fabrication for their assemblies and designs. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality production and profitability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced industrial environment. Duties Design, develop, and release sheet metal fabrication parts & projects utilizing AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Coordinate project scheduling with production for manufacturing, finishing, and assembly to meet customer requirements. Quote sheet metal parts and assemblies. Develop customers and communicate with them. Program and nest parts for best material yield and efficiency. Evaluate costing of manufactured parts. Requirements Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or work experience in manufacturing/engineering roles. Proven expertise in software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Word, Excel, and MRP systems Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques including laser cutting, punching, press brake forming, tooling, welding, and assembly Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Pay:
$25.06 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
