Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and electrical systems industry, is seeking a Harness Design Engineer to join their team. As a Harness Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

$100,000 - $130,000 What's the Job? Design and develop wire harness assemblies and electrical interconnect systems for complex electromechanical products. Collaborate with end customer engineers to integrate wire harnesses within equipment, assemblies, and packaging constraints. Create and maintain harness drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering documentation. Define harness routing, retention methods, and protection strategies to ensure reliability and serviceability. Support prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities throughout the product lifecycle. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in wire harness design, cable assembly design, or electrical interconnect systems. Experience creating wiring diagrams, schematics, harness drawings, and related engineering documentation. Knowledge of electrical components, wiring practices, connector systems, and cable management solutions. Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
