Job Description

Overview HardRock Ready Mix is currently seeking an experienced batcher for our new location in Mebane, NC. Responsibilities Operate and monitor concrete batching equipment, including mixers, loaders, and conveyors, to ensure precise mixture ratios and consistent product quality Manage raw material inventory, including cement, aggregates, admixtures, and water, ensuring proper storage and handling Perform routine maintenance and inspections on plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, forklifts, cranes, and power tools to ensure optimal performance and safety Conduct quality control checks on finished concrete products, adjusting mixture components as needed to meet specifications Follow strict safety protocols during all operations, including heavy lifting, equipment operation, welding, and outdoor work conditions Maintain detailed records of production activities, equipment maintenance logs, safety inspections, and batch reports Qualifications Proven experience with concrete batching. Sysdyne or Command experience preferred. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, forklifts (certification preferred), cranes, and power tools Familiarity with safety standards related to concrete plant activities. Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence in outdoor work settings involving heavy lifting and equipment maintenance Basic math skills for calculating mixture proportions and measurements accurately CDL is required This is a fabulous opportunity to get in on the ground level!
Pay:
$25.50 - $27.50 per hour
