full-time Automated Test Engineer, Manufacturing Our successful client is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to provide technical leadership for automation of RF testing on the TWT test floor. This full-time, direct-hire role offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities of the Automated Test Engineer, Manufacturing Establish test methodologies, including sequencing, special tests, repeated tests, and reporting standards Develop automated test routines on test units with robust safety features Ensure test routines record time, operating conditions, and error codes whenever a test fails or an interlock is triggered Lead development of the database used for storing, retrieving, and managing production test data Develop methods for retrieving data, trending performance, and handling anomalies Identify opportunities for machine learning and AI to improve yield, margins, or predictive performance Partner with manufacturing during prototype, pilot, and first-run builds Recommend equipment and instrumentation to enhance automation or improve test capability Qualifications of the Automated Test Engineer, Manufacturing Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field and 5+ years of RF test/automation experience, or 15+ years of TWT test experience including 10+ years in R D Strong hands-on technical problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes Experience with complete test characterization, automation, data acquisition, troubleshooting, and production support Proficiency with RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and oscilloscopes Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
