Job Description
This is a 12-month contract position for a Manufacturing Test Engineer based in Edison, New Jersey. Responsibilities Develop and maintain software that controls and tests physical electronic hardware Design and implement automated electronic hardware test solutions Manage instrument communication and control for test systems Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware interfaces Qualifications Required 8+ years of IT or Engineering experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of software and test automation experience, particularly in developing software that controls and tests physical electronic hardware 4+ years of C# and Microsoft .NET software development skills 4+ years of automated electronic hardware test development experience 4+ years of instrument communication and control experience 3+ years of debugging and troubleshooting software and hardware interfaces Preferred Experience with C++ Experience with Visual Basic 5 or 6 Experience with LabVIEW Experience with Python
