Mahwah, New Jersey job type: Contract salary: $39.00 - 45.16 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Coordinate capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from initial concept through production release. Assist with equipment installations, Factory/Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), and validation activities on the manufacturing floor. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and external equipment suppliers to resolve technical issues. Track project action items, attend project meetings, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Split time between the office and manufacturing floor to progressively take ownership of project tasks across the lifecycle.

qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Biomedical, or a related engineering discipline (0-2 years of experience; recent graduates and co-op/internship experience welcomed). Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving initiative, and effective communication skills to manage priorities across teams. Exposure to manufacturing processes, Lean/Six Sigma principles, project management tools, or medical device experience is preferred.
