$90,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually Overview Operate independently with Engineering Manager oversite to perform engineering valve design functions for the development of new products and for the modification of existing products, in accordance with corporate strategic plans.RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate design concepts, with guidance on engineering calculations. Collaborate with team members to validate designs and make recommended changes, with some approval from senior engineers. Report progress and any issues encountered to the Engineering Manager or Project Engineer. Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, production, vendors, and contractors to support product design projects, with feedback from Engineering Managers Collaborate with engineering support groups to review final designs and implement modifications as necessary. Support efforts to resolve manufacturing problems and improve product quality with direction from senior staff. Stay updated on relevant technological developments and assist in incorporating design improvements. Assist in visiting customer sites to validate product design specifications and address minor product issues. Prepare time reports for projects as assigned. Perform other related duties as required. Attend customer calls as a primary contributor, providing feedback and addressing actions/concerns with the support of senior engineers Familiarity of the design process from kick-off to qualification and production for a product lineSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degree.
- 3-5+ years of engineering experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills - verbal and written Creative thinker with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
