About York Industries York Industries is the expert in small synchronous drives, with over 80 years of success in manufacturing custom and standard timing pulleys, gears, custom assemblies, and as a supplier of timing belts, we're looking for an Entry-Level CAD Drafter / Manufacturing Engineering Assistant to support our production and engineering teams. This is a great opportunity for someone with SolidWorks skills who wants to develop their career in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Pay Range:
$23 - $30 per hour depending on experience and skill set
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities Create production methods and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks for new parts Update existing production methods to documentation standards Maintain drawing changes and revisions coming from the production floor Process redline changes and engineering changes Work with engineering and production to keep manufacturing documentation accurate and up to date Maintain machine maintenance records and documentation Organize and maintain engineering and production files Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions What We're Looking For Working knowledge of SolidWorks Ability to read mechanical drawings Basic understanding of dimensions and tolerances Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with engineering and production personnel Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Recent graduates in CAD, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or similar programs are encouraged to apply. Experience with CNC machining, GD&T, or manufacturing is a plus, but not required .
