Job Description
Small manufacturing company is adding a Machine Design Engineer to keep up with demand. Machinery is shipped throughout the world and is supported by field service and parts from the home office. The engineer will model individual components and entire machines using Solid Edge CAD software. Must be able to produce high strength, aesthetic machines and components for industrial food processing. Most materials are stainless steel and plastic. Engineer will model and produce flat layouts and .dxf files for machining, cutting, welding, and bending operations. Understanding of weld symbols and sheet metal bending operations is a significant advantage. Burner systems and PLC control understanding are also highly valued skills. Position is part of a team of designers and drafters. Compensation is commensurate with contribution. The atmosphere is dynamic and customer-driven with focus on creative engineering innovation. Applicants must be legal US citizens.
