About the Position This is a hands-on manufacturing process engineering role. You'll work directly with machinists and operators to develop and improve manufacturing processes across our precision machining operations, reducing variation, improving throughput, and ensuring every component meets print. You're not writing reports from a desk. You're troubleshooting process issues, optimizing parameters, building better tooling setups, and closing out problems for good. If you thrive in a high-mix precision shop where no two days are the same, this role is built for you. Responsibilities Develop and improve manufacturing processes across machining, grinding, and forming operations Work directly with machinists and operators to solve process problems at the source Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and tooling standards Support new product introduction, translate design intent into manufacturable processes Drive continuous improvement: cycle time, yield, first-pass quality Collaborate with quality and design engineering to resolve non-conformances and reduce variation Identify tooling, fixturing, and equipment needs; support capital justificationRequirements:
