Salary negotiableJOB SUMMARY
Designs stainless steel equipment for the restaurant industry in accordance with architectural documents to meet required industry codes/practices and manufacturing schedules, consistent with corporate mission, values and departmental objectives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Examine documents such as drawings, job files, change orders and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data according to architectural documents. Prepare design drawings and bills of material. Confer with Sales department to obtain missing information and to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents. Consult with senior Engineering staff for any special design considerations. Submit design drawings to customer for written approval. Incorporate and compile any possible adjustments or changes made necessary by revised design drawings. Collect, document, and record information affecting the scope of work and keep it organized in the job file. Issue final build-to drawings to Manufacturing. Utilize CAD equipment and software (Solidworks) Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, co-workers, clients and supervisors. Other duties as assigned by Manager.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
:- Minimum one (1) year of experience designing sheet metal parts and assemblies.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, industry standards, drawings and job specifications.
- Ability to operate necessary computer software (Solidworks).
- CNC machine programming experience a plus.
- Knowledge of E.P.L. and N.S.F. testing procedures a plus.
- Demonstrate ability to perform work independently on any type of project.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
