Autoneum is the Global Market Leader in Acoustics and Thermal Management. The Company is a leading Swiss supplier in sustainable acoustic and thermal management solutions for vehicles. It develops and manufactures multifunctional, lightweight components for optimum noise and heat protection. The Company is organized into four business groups by region: Business Group Europe, Business Group North America, Business Group Asia, and Business Group SAMEA (South America, Middle East and Africa). This position will be a full-time onsite position located in our manufacturing facility in Norwalk, OH. Are you looking for an established global player with an innovative spirit and looking to shape an entire industry? Then we have a deal! We are looking to add a Quality Engineer to our Norwalk OH team and be the direct boundary to the customer while monitoring and maintaining all customer portals, as well as the Advanced Quality Engineering Department throughout the program development phase. You will be a key player at our facility with responsibilities of supporting the development, implementation, and coordination of the Integrated Management System while meeting and exceeding
IATF 16949
2016 certification requirements. Who You Are Maintain, enforce, and apply corporate quality programs, procedures, and policies with precision and accuracy or production, testing metrics, and analytic equipment. Maintain and improve program-related quality documentation, such as process flow charts, and production processes. Perform PPAP studies and documentation, and ensure all products meet quality standards while providing information to support lessons learned based on internal and customer quality issues. Provide training on processes, standards, and procedures defined by the Integrated management system as needed and will be responsible for maintaining 5s in the department and participating in audit processes. Prime participant in preparations for all activities related to IATF 16949, customer and
CCC/CCAP
Audits as needed, and responsible for customer complaint management and activities relating to root causes. Participate in vendor-compliant management, monitoring and pulling scorecards from customer portals for review, and complying will all federal, state, and local legal requirements. Here's what we are looking for.. An individual who models effective work habits while maintaining an optimistic outlook with effective communication and cooperation with other members, including subordinates, peers, or managers. A bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management Systems is required, or equivalent experience works! You must have at least 3 years of experience in automotive Quality Management as well as basic knowledge of Quality Management Tools and Automotive Standards. International experience (working with suppliers, customers, and co-workers from a variety of countries is preferred.
