Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing waste, enhancing product quality, and supporting plant-wide operational improvements. The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to drive productivity gains and implement sustainable manufacturing solutions. Responsibilities Lead process improvement projects. Conduct time studies and labor analysis. Develop work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform root cause analysis. Support new product introductions. Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Essential Skills Manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Proficiency in Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Experience with PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis). Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM). Ability to conduct time studies and labor analysis. Strong root cause analysis skills. Experience in fabrication, metalworking, assembly, or industrial manufacturing. ERP/MRP systems experience. CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.). Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline. Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Work Environment This role provides the opportunity to make a visible impact in a manufacturing facility undergoing operational improvements. There is strong exposure to continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and plant-wide optimization projects. You will have broad cross-functional interaction with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering leadership. •$88000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
