Job Description

SEWS — Farmington Hills, Michigan Office. Although located at SEWS - Farmington Hills Office, this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work. Associates are required to work at least four days in the office each week, but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
JOB TITLE
Design Engineer
III RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a Hybrid Work Position following company policy (currently 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home). Upon Managers discretion, skill development needs, status of the project, and others, employees may be required to work in the office all 5 days. Create / maintain and ownership fuse box 3D design, design changes, and drawings within Unigraphics (NX). Interpret, maintain and develop schematics / BOMs. Create / maintain projects to program timing and due dates. Support / conduct internal meetings and design reviews. Interface with customer; meetings, design reviews, build support, etc. Develop
DFMEA, DVP&R, 5P
documents. Interpret and apply GD&T to SEWS drawings. Travel may be required (>10%). Work with Team on Continuous Improvement Activities.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 5+ years engineering experience required. Required Unigraphics (NX) CAD experience. Fuse Box Design / Engineering Experience.
