Position Summary Tecno Display is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer / Product & Process Engineer to support the design, engineering, programming, and production of custom glass display cases, cabinetry, and fabricated display products. This role is for someone with strong analytical ability, engineering judgment, math skills, and practical problem-solving ability. The right person should enjoy figuring out how parts fit together, how products should be built, and how to improve production methods. This is not a CNC operator position and does not require prior cabinetmaking experience. We are looking for someone who can learn new software systems quickly, work through technical problems, and support production with accurate drawings, programs, and manufacturing instructions. Core Responsibilities Create and revise technical drawings for display cases, cabinetry, and custom fabricated products. Work with CAD and manufacturing software to prepare parts, assemblies, and production files. Support CNC programming and nested-based manufacturing workflows. Convert customer requirements, sketches, and product concepts into manufacturable designs. Review dimensions, materials, hardware, joinery, and construction details for accuracy. Help develop and improve standard products, custom products, and production methods. Troubleshoot design, software, material, and production issues. Work with production staff to identify problems and create practical solutions. Create and maintain documentation, drawings, cut lists, and manufacturing notes. Support process improvement, material optimization, and fabrication efficiency. Learn and work within Tecno Display's ERP, CAD, CAM, and manufacturing systems. Assist with standardizing products, parts, assemblies, and internal engineering processes. Qualifications Two-year or four-year engineering degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience will be considered. Strong math, geometry, and mechanical reasoning skills. Experience with CAD or technical drawing software required. Ability to learn new software programs quickly. Strong computer skills and comfort working with technical systems. Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings. Strong attention to detail. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work through unfamiliar technical challenges. Ability to communicate clearly with production, sales, and management. Reliable attendance and professional work habits. Preferred Experience Experience with SolidWorks, Cabinet Vision, S2M Center, CAD/CAM systems, or similar software. Experience in manufacturing, product design, millwork, cabinetry, furniture, displays, fixtures, or custom fabrication. Experience preparing files for CNC routers or other automated manufacturing equipment. Understanding of materials such as melamine, laminate, MDF, veneer, glass, acrylic, aluminum, and hardware. Experience working in a small business or custom manufacturing environment. Work Environment Manufacturing and office environment. This role will involve both computer-based engineering work and time on the production floor. Must be comfortable communicating with shop staff and reviewing physical products, materials, and production issues. This is an on-site position in Sparks, Nevada. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is practical, detail-oriented, and technically curious. They do not need to come from the display case or cabinetry industry, but they must be able to understand how products are built, how parts fit together, and how to solve problems using engineering logic. Pay:
