• Produce detailed primary designs for HV/EHV substations
• Develop layout drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Design electrical plant including switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment
• Ensure all designs comply with safety, quality, and industry standards
• Support design reviews and manage technical approvals
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on projects
• Contribute to continuous improvement and the adoption of engineering best practices Requirements
• Demonstrable experience in primary design for HV/EHV substations
• Excellent understanding of substation layouts and electrical plant

• HNC / HND

  / Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Exposure to transmission or distribution projects
• Knowledge of UK standards and design practices
• Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills
