Process Engineer - Advanced Packaging ???? Austin, Texas (On-site) ???? Competitive Salary + Benefits A leading advanced manufacturing business in Austin, Texas is seeking a Process Engineer - Advanced Packaging to take ownership of a high-precision production line supporting cutting-edge lighting technology. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll become the subject matter expert across assembly, packaging, and test processes - working within a cleanroom, semiconductor-style environment. The Opportunity You'll lead performance across a critical production line, driving yield, uptime, and quality, while working closely with engineering and operations teams to continuously improve processes and introduce new equipment. Key Responsibilities Own production KPIs, yield, and line performance Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Troubleshoot advanced packaging equipment (e.g. die attach, wire bonding) Drive continuous improvement across cost, quality, and efficiency Support new product introduction and Design for Manufacturing activities Act as a key interface between manufacturing, engineering, and leadership What We're Looking For Strong experience in process or manufacturing engineering (electronics/semiconductor preferred) Experience with advanced packaging, wire bonding, or similar processes Strong problem-solving and data-driven mindset Exposure to cleanroom or high-precision manufacturing environments Familiarity with MES systems or SQL is a plus This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible role where you can influence both process performance and product development in a growing, technology-driven business.
