Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Key Responsibilities Automation & System Development Design and implement automated systems for FPCB manufacturing processes (e.g., imaging, etching, lamination, plating, laser drilling, inspection, and handling). Translate lab-scale or engineering processes into robust, production-ready automation solutions. Develop scalable architectures that support high-mix, low-volume to high-volume production. Controls & Integration Develop and program PLC, HMI, and motion control systems. Integrate robotics, conveyors, and precision handling systems for delicate flexible substrates. Interface equipment with MES, SCADA, and data acquisition systems for real-time monitoring and control. Process Optimization & Scale-Up Partner with process engineers to stabilize, optimize, and scale new and existing FPCB processes. Implement advanced process control (APC), closed-loop feedback systems, and data-driven optimization. Drive improvements in yield, throughput, OEE, and defect reduction. Equipment & Technology Deployment Specify, design, and commission custom automation equipment. Work with OEMs and integrators to develop specialized machinery for FPCB processes. Lead FAT, SAT, and ramp-up of new equipment. Data & Smart Manufacturing Enable Industry 4.0 initiatives including: Real-time machine data collection Predictive maintenance Digital dashboards and OEE tracking Develop systems that leverage data for AI/ML-driven process improvements. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with process engineering, quality, operations, and R&D teams. Support new product introduction (NPI) and technology transfer into production. Train technicians and operators on automated systems.QUALIFICATIONS

Education Bachelor's degree in: Automation Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Electrical Engineering (Controls focus) Mechanical Engineering (with automation focus) Advanced degree preferred (optional) Core Technical Skills PLC & controls engineering HMI/SCADA and multi axis motion control Industrial robotics & EOAT Precision mechatronics Machine vision/AOI Automation software & industrial networking (Python/C/C++/ST, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, OPC UA).LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $90,000 and $140,000 hourly/annually. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline. When extending an offer, Amphenol Critical Medical Technologies considers various factors such as the position's responsibilities, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, essential skills, internal pay equity, and market considerations. Certain roles are also eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases and annual bonus. These awards are discretionary and allocated based on individual and company performance. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
