Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Analyze production, labor, and equipment data to identify trends, uncover performance gaps, and recommend practical improvements.
- Lead improvement initiatives that simplify manufacturing processes, increase throughput, and reduce material or time-related waste.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators that support plant objectives across safety, quality, output, sanitation, and cost control.
- Evaluate workflow design, staffing utilization, and production methods to improve labor effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and industrial engineering techniques to strengthen daily operations and support sustainable gains.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process changes, measure results, and drive accountability for improvement efforts.
- Prepare reporting and performance summaries that translate operational data into actionable recommendations for plant leadership.
- Support projects that improve equipment effectiveness, optimize line performance, and enhance compliance within a food manufacturing environment.
