Summary The Production Technician I produces high-quality products and delivers exceptional service while supporting the company's commitment to "Right. On Time. Every Time." This position is responsible for safely operating production equipment, maintaining quality and productivity standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence. Core FunctionsSafety Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Equipment Operation Operate production equipment, including: Benders Roll formers Wrappers Slitters Shears Forklifts Other related machinery Set up and operate equipment according to work instructions and established operating standards. Quality & Production Perform quality inspections and make necessary adjustments. Ensure products meet quality specifications and are free of defects. Complete production orders on time while meeting goals for: Safety Quality Productivity On-time delivery Scrap reduction Equipment Maintenance Conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections. Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly. Workplace Organization Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly store materials, tools, and equipment. Documentation Accurately complete production records and tracking documentation. Team Support Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed. Support inventory activities. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs. Key Measures of Success A successful

Operates equipment safely and efficiently while meeting production and quality standards. Demonstrates proficiency in multiple production functions to support operational flexibility. Works effectively as part of a team through strong communication and collaboration. Produces accurate, defect-free work with close attention to detail. Contributes ideas that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance production processes. Uses measurement tools and basic math skills to verify product specifications. Education & Experience Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Crane and forklift certification (where applicable).

$40,000.00 per year
