View More Jobs Sr. Manufacturing Technician (1st shift) Glendale, AZ, United States (On-site) Be the First to Apply Job Description As a Sr Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by applying your expertise to ensure high-quality production processes and products. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain manufacturing systems and equipment. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager and you'll work out of our Glendale, AZ location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes, contributing directly to the success of our Aero business unit and helping us meet customer demands with precision and reliability. Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve issues with manufacturing equipment and systems Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements Maintain documentation and compliance with safety and quality standards Train and mentor junior technicians to build team capability Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Extensive experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in aerospace production Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex manufacturing issues to minimize downtime Experience with manufacturing tools, machinery, and possibly automation systems relevant to aerospace manufacturing Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar high-precision manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Experience with quality management systems such as AS9100 Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
