$19.00/hour
Schedule:
4:00 AM - 2:30 PM Key Responsibilities Work safely and follow all site SHE (Safety, Health & Environmental) and security rules, procedures, and agreed controls. Address unsafe/irresponsible behaviors and report incidents and near-misses to leadership. Support and participate in continuous improvement / Manufacturing Excellence activities. Set up, operate, adjust, and clean production equipment required to manufacture Dyneema products per work instructions and SOPs . Monitor the process, make controlled adjustments within established limits, and maintain required quality standards. Perform in-process quality checks , take samples, document results, and prepare samples for offline testing as required. Maintain accurate production and traceability records in the appropriate computer system (enter data for components, intermediate, and finished product). Supply and maintain inventory of production components and supplies as needed. Perform minor preventive maintenance and keep equipment and work areas in safe, clean operating condition. Move raw, intermediate, and finished products using material handling equipment including pallet jack and overhead crane (and forklift as required by the role/site needs). Use good judgment to make decisions related to product quality, equipment functionality, and safety . Identify equipment/process issues, communicate concerns to the lead, and recommend improvements. Participate in near-miss investigations , including RCA/JSA activities, and support SHE/Quality task teams. Maintain required trainings in TS and TX. Perform other duties as assigned. Safety & Security Expectations This role may involve handling and/or working around hazardous materials and hazardous waste . The employee must be able to read, understand, apply, and communicate instructions for handling and managing hazardous waste, including proper handling, documentation, inspection, and internal transport, and may assist with emergency response as needed. Employees must follow security requirements, including (but not limited to) protection of confidential information and intellectual property, "need-to-know" access, and restrictions on unauthorized use of phones/cameras/computers or property. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment (textile/composites production preferred) and/or equivalent military technical training/experience Strong safety mindset; knowledge of appropriate safety procedures Experience with changeovers / cleaning / set-up and following work instructions Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions using data and facts Basic math skills Ability to maintain accurate records and consistently meet production and quality expectations Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Access or similar) Mechanical aptitude (equipment assembly/operation) Ability to read gauges/dials/meters, set controllers, and coordinate hand/arm manipulation Ability to perform manual material handling and heavy lifting Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (or ability to become qualified/certified per site requirements) Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
