Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for our pharmaceutical manufacturer client in Carlsbad, CA This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment and is passionate about producing products that make a meaningful impact. Onsite | $21.00 - $27.00 per hour | Contract to Hire What Youll Do Perform lyophilization and manufacturing operations in accordance with GMP and GDP requirements. Prepare, stage, and verify raw materials for production. Execute formulation and manufacturing activities by following approved procedures and batch records. Maintain cleanroom organization and ensure production areas are stocked and ready for use. Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Troubleshoot routine manufacturing issues and escalate concerns when appropriate. Coordinate smooth handoffs between shifts to maintain production efficiency. Partner with Production, Quality, Materials, and other cross-functional teams to meet production schedules. Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Support overtime, weekend, or holiday production activities as business needs require. What Were Looking For Required High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment. Experience working under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Experience with lyophilization (freeze drying) processes. Formulation experience. Understanding of scientific units of measurement. Basic computer skills. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to pass a visual acuity examination. #
