Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician specializing in aerospace manufacturing.

This role serves as the final stage of our production process and ensures our Duocel® metal foam is completely free from defect, complies with strict specifications and is meticulously packaged for our clients. This position will require working periodically with production operators in each resource to ensure SOPs are followed and non-compliant material escapes are eliminated. Responsibilities • Follows work instructions and completes production records Perform thorough inspections of completed kits and material prior to dispatch. Conduct routine quality audits at each resource in GTF production. Use basic power tools and measuring devices (e.g., wrench, drill, tape measurer, graduated cylinder, scales, feeler gauge, calipers) Identify non-compliant material and scrap/ disposition as needed. Collaborate with team members and management to improve production processes and reduce downtime. Utilize ERP software to track daily activities, direct/ indirect labor transactions. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Keen hand-eye coordination Precision with maintaining specifications of components Highly detail oriented Perform repetitive hand/wrist activity. Prolonged sitting Use advanced power tools (e.g., hydraulic press, water jet, band saw) Excellent written and oral communication skills, including effectively communicating with co-workers and management. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are a must. Reliable and Dependable Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in active work environment. Must be able and willing to wear all required PPE, including respirator masks and hood. Legally authorized to work in US.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of related experience in manufacturing QC or QA.
Physical Demands:
The essential functions of the position may require frequent standing, finger dexterity in non-dominant hand, near/far visual acuity, 20/20 vision with or without the use of corrective lenses, depth perception, field of vision, accommodation and color vision; occasional walking, sitting, repetitive use of both hands and finger dexterity with both hands; seldom reaching overhead, bending over. Must be able and willing to wear all required PPE, including respirator masks and hood.
Mental Demands:
The essential functions of the position require the ability to read and write, and the ability to perform simple to moderately complex tasks; perform clerical functions; and follow verbal and written instructions.
Working Conditions:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud and the employee usually works in a non-climate-controlled environment. Work may entail the use of computer equipment. The employee works with others, around others, with verbal in-person contact. Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
