Duties:

Setting up and operating grinding and related tools that remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, sharpen edges or corners, or buff or polish metal work pieces. Repetitive filing or use of a grinder to smooth away nicks and fragments. Sanding by hand or sanding with a pneumatic hand tool for more troublesome deformities. Washing and polishing parts prior to submitting for inspection. Operate pallet jacks. Lift 10-15 lb material. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance. Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
