Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate tape-and-reel equipment to package electronic components according to established specifications.
- Set up and operate equipment, including selecting appropriate tape, carrier, cover tape, and reel sizes.
- Verify component part numbers, quantities, orientation, and packaging requirements.
- Inspect components and completed reels for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate component identification, labeling, and lot/date-code traceability.
- Follow travelers, work instructions, drawings, and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain ESD controls and proper handling procedures for electronic components.
- Complete production and inspection documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged components, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor or Quality personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, electronics, tape-and-reel, component handling, or similar production experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with small electronic components.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to work in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
