$40 - $50/Hr Job Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to support the fabrication, assembly, testing, and production of mechanical and electromechanical components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position works closely with engineering and production teams to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and improve products while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience reading engineering drawings, and the ability to work effectively in a production environment supporting complex assemblies and manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and larger assemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Set up, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and validate prototype units and production hardware. Perform inspections, rework, and quality testing on components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Support engineers with manufacturing operations, process improvements, experiments, and product development activities. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, manufacturing plans, and technical documentation. Collect, document, and analyze manufacturing and test data. Assist in developing and improving manufacturing methods, procedures, and process controls. Handle fragile composite materials and assemblies while maintaining product integrity. Maintain material traceability and accurately document adhesive usage, pot life, and out-time requirements. Coordinate and communicate effectively with engineering, quality, and production teams. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizen required. High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, electromechanical assembly, aerospace, or related experience. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools. Understanding of torque concepts and proper tool usage. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods. Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, and different shifts as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience using electronic test equipment such as digital multimeters, DC power supplies, source meters, and related instruments. Basic shop mathematics and measurement skills. Experience working in ISO-compliant manufacturing environments. Experience operating forklifts, cranes, rigging equipment, or similar manufacturing equipment. Soldering experience. J-STD certification. Aerospace, defense, satellite, spacecraft, or precision manufacturing experience.
