Line Operator - Manufacturing Position Summary The Line Operator is responsible for performing production and packaging activities on a manufacturing line. This position works as part of a team to ensure products are properly assembled, capped, labeled, packaged, and inspected while meeting production, quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and support production and packaging lines. Place and secure caps, lids, pumps, or other closures onto products. Apply labels and verify they are positioned correctly. Load bottles, containers, or other materials onto the production line. Inspect finished products for defects, damaged packaging, incorrect labels, or improper caps. Pack finished products into boxes, cases, or other packaging. Perform basic quality checks throughout the production process. Keep the production line supplied with packaging materials. Monitor the line and report equipment or production issues to the Line Lead or Supervisor. Follow production instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. Complete basic production documentation as required. Assist with line changeovers, cleaning, and setup between production runs. Work with other operators and team members to meet daily production goals. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or packaging experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good attention to detail and ability to identify product or packaging defects. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to stand for most of the shift. Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position. Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a production team. Preferred Experience Experience with production lines, packaging, labeling, capping, bottling, assembly, inspection, or similar manufacturing operations is preferred.
