About the Opportunity E8 Engineering is working with a manufacturing company at the forefront of EMI gasket innovation, design, and customer service. Our customer creates precision EMI/RFI shielding and vibration control solutions used in aerospace, defense, electronics, and industrial systems. They are known for reliability, engineering depth, and long-standing craftsmanship, and they have been established and profitable for over 3 decades. We are currently recruiting for a motivated, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician for a 4-6 month temporary assignment . You will support the safe, efficient, and accurate production of high-quality products. This is a great fit for someone with 0-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Job Accountabilities Perform station and machine setups as requested Perform production processes as outlined in written company procedures and/or as instructed by a supervisor Accurately fill out production work travelers Follow safety rules as written in the Safety Manual and discussed in Safety Meetings Use the manufacturing computer for time and project tracking Keep your workstation clean and tidy, and make sure no tools in your assigned toolbox are lost Perform cleanup daily as requested Perform other duties as requested Qualifications HS Diploma/GED, or a combination of equivalent relevant work experience 0-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to operate and maintain production machinery and equipment Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Able to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking Able to work while wearing a respirator and safety PPE to minimize exposure to some chemicals Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred Additional Information Our customer shuts down for two weeks during the Christmas holiday season.
