Job Description
Manufacturing Technician III We are seeking a dependable and experienced Manufacturing Technician III who will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager. This is a hands-on position responsible for performing manufacturing activities, following established procedures, completing production documentation, and supporting quality, safety, and productivity goals. Manufacturing Technician III may assist with training and mentoring less experienced employees and may provide day-to-day technical support to the manufacturing team. This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities but may provide an opportunity for advancement to a Manufacturing Lead role based on performance, experience, leadership ability, and business needs. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Experience in medical-device, cleanroom, or another regulated manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Qualifications Three or more years of manufacturing experience Experience following written procedures and accurately completing production documentation Ability to perform manufacturing tasks with limited supervision Strong attention to detail, organization Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to troubleshoot routine production issues and escalate problems when appropriate to the supervisor Ability to assist with training and mentoring less-experienced employees Interest in developing the leadership skills needed to advance to a Manufacturing Lead role (giving and receiving feedback, dual focus supervision of your own tasks and tasks of others) Cleanroom or regulated-manufacturing experience preferred Willingness and ability to learn medical-device and cleanroom requirements Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this position.
