Chemical Lab Technician - Plating & Manufacturing About EFT EFT Fast Quality Service, Inc., or simply EFT, was established in 1999 to provide a variety of surface finishes for the printed circuit board industry. Our facility uses high-quality equipment that allows us to provide exceptional circuit board plating services to aerospace and engineering customers. Position Summary EFT Fast Quality Service, Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our plating and manufacturing operations. This position collects and analyzes chemical samples, determines necessary chemical additions, operates laboratory equipment, and maintains accurate testing records. The Laboratory Technician also communicates results to production, maintains laboratory inventory and documentation, and supports customer and quality audits. The ideal candidate has at least one year of laboratory experience, previous experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work independently after completing training. Key Responsibilities

• Collect chemical samples from the production area.
• Analyze chemical solutions and determine necessary additions or adjustments.
• Communicate test results and chemical-addition instructions to production personnel.
• Operate, clean, and calibrate laboratory testing equipment.
• Enter test results accurately into laboratory software.
• Process test samples and maintain complete, organized records.
• Follow written testing methods, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Monitor laboratory chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Report low-stock, expired, or damaged laboratory materials.
• Create, organize, and update laboratory and quality documents.
• Support customer visits and quality audit preparation.
• Identify unusual results, equipment problems, or safety concerns and report them promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory.
• Follow all chemical-handling, labeling, storage, and disposal procedures. Laboratory Equipment The position may operate the following equipment:
• Atomic Absorption (AA) unit
• XRF unit
• Spectrophotometer
• Auto-titrator
• Metal dosing controllers Qualifications
• At least one year of laboratory experience required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills; college-level math is preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel) and accurate data-entry abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures, formulas, and testing specifications.
• Ability to communicate professionally with production employees, customers, and auditors.
• Ability to work independently and solve routine problems after completing training.
• Ability to safely handle laboratory and production chemicals.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to start work at 6:00 a.m. and work overtime.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Experience
• Chemical analysis in a plating or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using AA, XRF, spectrophotometer, auto-titrator, or metal dosing equipment.
• Experience with laboratory software, equipment calibration, quality documentation, or audit preparation.
