We specialize in rebuilding and remanufacturing heavy-duty clutch and brake components for commercial trucks, trailers, industrial equipment, and specialty applications. No two days are the same. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, learning specialized skills, and taking pride in producing quality work. Mechanical experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic, ambition, and a willingness to learn. What You'll Do Rebuild heavy-duty clutch assemblies Reline commercial brake shoes Resurface flywheels using precision equipment Disassemble worn clutch and brake components for inspection and rebuilding Clean, inspect, and prepare components for remanufacturing Operate shop equipment and specialized machinery safely Perform quality inspections to ensure rebuilt products meet company standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools Automotive, diesel, industrial, machine shop, or fabrication experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the day Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Dependable with excellent attendance Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team Ambition to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career Pride in producing high-quality work Why Capitol Clutch & Brake?
