Electronic Production Technician Aurora, CO Job Details Full-time $25 - $37 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Electrical equipment repair Schematics Technical documentation Configuration management English Industrial equipment troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Assembly Data entry Electrical diagnostics Technical writing Equipment testing Manufacturing Document management Electronic equipment testing Full Job Description Electronic Production Technician We design and build electronic products in Aurora, Colorado and have an immediate need for a Production Technician to help us with testing instruments and cables along with calibration and inspection activities. Responsibilities will include assembling, testing and calibrating various instruments and inspecting and testing cable assemblies. This position is also responsible for maintaining test equipment and providing assistance to Engineering with development of manufacturing aids and validation of manufacturing processes. Additional duties include incoming material inspection and testing, documentation of quality non-conformances, investigation of production problems, and other production support activities as needed by the Company.
Job Duties:
Assembles, tests, and calibrates instrument products and instrument sub-assemblies. Troubleshoots and diagnoses instrument test failures and performs repairs as required. Tests and inspects cable assemblies for production. Maintains test equipment including automated production test equipment. Maintains equipment repair and calibration records. Maintains company Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and log. Investigates production problems and coordinates with engineering for resolution. Assists in the development and fabrication of manufacturing aids. Documents production and material related quality non-conformances. Assists with incoming material receiving and inspection. Assists with cable assembly as production demand requires. Assists with shipping efforts as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Skills, Traits, and Experience:
Electronics Technical School graduate, or High School graduate with military training in electronics, or equivalent electronics troubleshooting and repair experience. Speak, read, and write English clearly and effectively. Good or corrected vision - cannot be color blind. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and other technical drawings. Experience using electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators. Experience testing and troubleshooting electronics to the component level. Experience with document control and configuration management procedures. Must have computer and data entry skills; word processing and spreadsheet skills a plus. Experience writing production process instructions a definite plus. Experience in an ISO 9001 or
ISO 13485
quality system environment helpful. Ability to regularly lift and move up to 30 lbs. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Accustomed to performing at a high level with minimal supervision. Must be conscientious, patient, pleasant, cooperative, and take pride in your work. Based on your skills and experience, we offer a competitive starting salary along with a good benefit package.
