Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Production Technician to Assist with the design and production of surveying, civil engineering, landscape architecture, site lighting, irrigation, land planning, and land development projects utilizing computer aided drafting and other computer software.

Responsibilities:

Provides drafting and design support by preparing and maintaining AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings for Conceptual Design, Design Development, Permitting, and Construction Documents packages for public and private sector clients. Prepares CAD designs from instruction, conceptual sketches, maps, surveys, aerials or schematic diagrams precisely. Reviews and interprets development regulations and assists the design team with the submittal processes for various municipalities throughout Florida. Communicates and coordinates effectively with Leadership, the Project Manager, the Design Team, coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies and documents communications accurately. Utilizes computer software to produce quality plans, reports, graphics, exhibits, details, opinions of costs, project communications, and project documentation within project budgets and schedule. Ensures that Kapur & Associates, Inc's Core Processes, CAD Standards, and Quality Assurance / Quality Control procedures are followed at all times.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED 0-3 years of related experience. 1+ of Computer Aided Drafting and Design training. Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree (or higher) with a concentration in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or related design major. 1-3 years of related Computer Aided Drafting and Design experience within an office environment. KapurLP Pay:

$40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
