You will play a vital role in maximizing equipment uptime by applying your expertise in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair to keep our manufacturing systems running at peak performance. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive maintenance strategies to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical failures. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and schematics to troubleshoot control systems, motors, and power distribution. Perform proactive preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent operational disruptions. Fabricate and modify machine components using shop equipment to support custom production requirements. Install, align, and calibrate new or relocated machinery to meet precise engineering specifications. Lead root-cause analysis efforts to identify recurring issues and implement long-term technical solutions. Support emergency repair efforts to restore production capacity rapidly during critical downtime events. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical repair. Proven ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and high-voltage electrical systems. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. Strong commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights on elevated platforms. Preferred Skills Demonstrated experience in welding and custom metal fabrication. Hands-on knowledge of maintaining conveyors, gearboxes, and industrial pumps. Basic computer literacy for logging maintenance activities and tracking work orders. Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with production teams and management.
