Onsite Summary Upon joining our team as a Manufacturing Technician, you will be helping to assemble, test and rework mechanical assemblies as well as some electronics and electromechanical assemblies including sensors. The technician will preferably already have experience or is willing to learn basic hand-soldering skills. Responsibilities Follow work instructions to assemble, test and rework mechanical components and assemblies. Be willing to learn basic soldering skills for work on wires and wiring harnesses. Frequent lifting of equipment and products (~5 pounds), occasional lifting of gear and equipment (up to 25 pounds). Qualifications Direct experience in workshop or consumer electronics manufacturing environment assembling and testing mechanical components, electronics, or electro- mechanical assemblies. Willingness to learn and have a can-do attitude Skills Strong mechanical aptitude Attention to detail and ability to carefully follow instructions Good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity Basic troubleshooting skills Collaborative working style and team-player attitude Basic computer skills
