Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for working safely, operating a machine, driving a forklift and producing quality product. SHIFT 1st Shift (6AM-2PM)PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Must adhere to all TSW safety procedures and wear all safety equipment
- Learn to set-up the machine correctly and completely (in a timely manner)
- Evaluate product straightness, diameter, length and identification of tags that are involved with each machine
- Daily preventive maintenance checks on all equipment operated
- Meet all quality standards and identify, report any problems
- Make sure you prepare your job for the next shift so that there is a smooth transition of work
- Must keep your work area neat, clean and safe place to work
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or related area
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Mechanical ability/knowledge is preferred
- Willing and able to work overtime as needed
- Basic math skills
- Computer data entry skills
- Ability to read measuring tools (i.
