Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for working safely, operating a machine, driving a forklift and producing quality product. SHIFT 1st Shift (6AM-2PM)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Must adhere to all TSW safety procedures and wear all safety equipment
  • Learn to set-up the machine correctly and completely (in a timely manner)
  • Evaluate product straightness, diameter, length and identification of tags that are involved with each machine
  • Daily preventive maintenance checks on all equipment operated
  • Meet all quality standards and identify, report any problems
  • Make sure you prepare your job for the next shift so that there is a smooth transition of work
  • Must keep your work area neat, clean and safe place to work
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or related area
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Mechanical ability/knowledge is preferred
  • Willing and able to work overtime as needed
  • Basic math skills
  • Computer data entry skills
  • Ability to read measuring tools (i.
e.: micrometer, tape measure, etc.)
