Job description DOD Technologies, is a leading global supplier of integrated gas detection systems and solutions. Our innovative products, services and systems protect, support and save lives. DOD Technologies, Inc. is currently looking to add an entry level Assembly Technician to join the production/manufacturing laboratory located in Cary, IL. Position Summary A Production Technician I duties involve assembling final level and/or more complex assemblies including final configuration of machines, performing quality checks, and conducting repairs on equipment when needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble machines which includes mechanical assembling, routing cables/wires, wiring various electronic components/parts per instructions or Engineering drawings. Inspect machines/assemblies for discrepancies and ensure proper build quality. This requires meticulous attention to detail. Perform repairs and/or rework machines/assemblies as needed. Comply with all company health and safety regulations, ensure all tasks are performed according to company policies and procedures, and complete any necessary data entry or documentation. Knowledgeable in proper usage of a digital multimeter. Qualifications Requires 1-3 years of related assembly/machine building experience required. Electronic/Mechanical/Manufacturing Technical degree/certificate (pursuing or completed) is highly desirable but not necessary.
